Woodinville Police Department celebrates Annual Shop with a Cop event this Saturday - 12/15/21

ISSAQUAH, Wash., Dec 15, 2021 – The Woodinville Police Department and the Eastside Firefighters Benevolent Fund join forces to make the holidays a little brighter for local families this Saturday. Police officers from around King County will distribute Holiday Boxes to over 35 families in a drive-through setting at Woodinville City Hall. Area schools selected over 75 underprivileged children to participate in this year’s event. The Holiday Boxes contain a full turkey dinner with sides and a $100 gift card for Fred Meyer for each child in the family. There will be music, coffee, food, and other fun things to do as the families come to pick up their boxes.

Woodinville Police Department’s Shop with a Cop

When: Saturday, December 18

Holiday Box pick up starts at 8:00 a.m.

Where: Woodinville City Hall

Shop with a Cop hopes to break down the barriers between the community and the police by providing a positive experience and interaction with local police officers. Costco in Woodinville has generously donated turkeys for the selected families’ holiday dinner. Donations for the event: www.WFFBF.org
