King County Volunteer
Fire Programs
The following table identifies all of the fire
departments within King County that offer a volunteer firefighter program. We
provide you this list as a courtesy so that you may explore other volunteer opportunities.
We suggest you check out their websites (if available) before calling their
offices.
Notes
District Policy: a “yes”
entry means that the agency requires its volunteers to live within the
community.
Dorm Program: a “yes” entry means that the agency offers volunteers permanent
residence at the fire station.
Overnight Shifts: a “yes” entry means that the agency requires volunteers to
spend one or more overnight shifts per month on duty at a fire station.
