Ms. Harris presented everyone with preliminary copies of the newsletter to review. The newsletter was then reviewed page by page to prepare it for publication. Chairman Dahline stated there was some concern over the use of the word “crisis”. Commissioner Pedee stated he believed there was truly a crisis and the newsletter needed to reflect the situation correctly. Ms. Harris had received a list of edits from Tonie Cook so she showed the group the alterations. Each page was then reviewed but other than some minor changes, the newsletter was approved as written.

Commissioner Pedee than suggested the newsletter be submitted for review to the PDC to ensure there were no violations. The PDC had been contacted by Tonie Cook and believed they could review the newsletter with a quick turn-around. Due to the tight timeline on the newsletter, Commissioner Parsons made a motion that any changes made by the PDC could be approved by Commissioner Pedee and then submitted for publication. Commissioner Pedee seconded. Motion carried.

The meeting adjourned at 1100 hrs.
